Bored, sat at home like lots of people on Valentines Day, I thought I’d do a look to cheer us all up! It’s very simple and very girly – hope you enjoy it!
I just prepped my eyelid with a primer, then patted white eyeshadow all over the lid blending towards the brow bone. Next around the crease I used Love+ by Sugarpill Cosmetics blending it into the white to give it a more pinky appearance. To add more depth I used a tiny bit of Poison Plum by Sugarpill Cosmetics in the crease too.
Complete eye look close up!
Close up of the finished look
I just lined the eye with Illamasqua Eyeliner Cake in Mislead and Sealing Gel to finish it off.
For my lips I used a tiny bit of Centrifuschia lipstick by Lime Crime with some Vaseline on top.
Face: Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation 07, Illamasqua Cream Blush in Promise, The Body Shop Bronzer 01.
Eyes: Lime Crime Magic Dust Eyeshadow in Nymph, Sugarpill Cosmetics Pressed Eyeshadow in Love+ and Poison Plum
It’s looking a bit cold outside today! It snowed overnight so I’m inside keeping warm and thought I’d bring you this shimmering fiery look using Dragon Scales Magic Dust to keep you warm too! I’m certainly feeling it on a day like this.
You’ll only need 4 things for this look – Lime Crime Candy Eyed Eyeshadow Helper (as always!), Lime Crime Magic Dust in Dragon Scales, MAC Eyeshadow in Mulch and MAC Eye Pencil in Coffee. I’m not using any blacks to contour the eye because I think they would look to harsh for the look I’m going for, I’m just wanting to add a bit of gentle shading to the outer ‘V’ and lash line.
I was in the mood for experimenting the other day, so I came up with this very subtle gold look! I usually just go for a neutral smokey eye then black eyeliner to finish, play it safe, but I thought I best make use of all the make up I’ve acquired over Christmas. I picked a product at random to base the look on, so here it is, my eye look based on Nymph!
Nymph by Lime Crime is a loose powder eyeshadow, it’s very easy to layer and blend to achieve the look you want. It’s a creamy ivory colour with a gold shine to it – lovely on it’s own or with other colours. I decided to use different gold tones to make this eye look, but with Nymph as the main colour all over the lid and towards the brow bone.
Hello! Today’s post is going to be quite long because I’ve just got my Lime Crime order and it’s got me so excited I had to review it straight away!
I’ve been interested in makeup from America for a while now – there’s so many different colours and products that aren’t available here in the UK! Even some MAC products and lines are only available in the US. It makes me so sad sometimes because the colours seem to be much more out there and eye catching!
Recently some brands have caught my eye, one of these is Lime Crime. So many beauty blogs were saying how great their products were, especially the Eyeshadow Helper and Opaque Lipsticks. Obviously I couldn’t resist, which cash-strapped student doesn’t need more makeup? I got them off a UK based site and was so impressed I treated myself from some goodies off of their US shop to get the full Lime Crime experience!
