After brows, the second most requested tutorial is eyeliner. To keep my Quick Tip Tuesday video as short as possible, I decided to create this post to talk about types of eyeliner, brushes you can use and how important the shape of your eyeliner is too.
So, if you’d like to learn more about how to get perfect winged eyeliner, please keep on reading!
I was editing these photos and was thinking it’s a bit like spot the difference because I was loving this makeup look and wore pretty much the same type of lip colour both days. I’m boring, I know.
On the first I’m wearing MAC Lipglass in Join the Party and I’m wearing Collection 2000 – or is it Collection now? I’m a creature of habit so we’ll go for the first – Lock ‘n’ Hold Lipgloss in Rock Steady.
Back on track from now on! This is a sort of no makeup makeup look, with MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Shy Girl. I love this lipstick, I got one when I had my makeup done at MAC ages ago and it’s a lipstick I buy over and over as it’s great pretty much all year round with a smokey eye or barely there makeup.
January 29th - MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Shy Girl
I got this lipstick the first time MAC launched it, and I’ve loved it ever since. It’s a pretty highlighter pink that looks awesome on pale skin or when you’ve got a bit of a tan too. MAC lipsticks smell awesome and this one is no exception – that yummy smell is why I go back to MAC every time for lipstick. Candy Yum Yum recently made a comeback with MAC By Request, although I think they got snapped up pretty quickly!
10th January - MAC Lipstick in Candy Yum Yum
I was pretty tired today too, but sadly not even Bobbi Brown Corrector and distracting bright pink lips could save me.
This was going to be yesterday’s lip but I wanted to focus on my eyes instead. MAC lipsticks are some of my favourites and the Viva Glam lipsticks are an awesome idea. Viva Glam Nicki can be worn two ways – blotted for a more subtle look or straight from the tube – and both look great! Today I went for the full coverage look.
I’ve recently started de-potting my eyeshadows to go into a MAC Pro Palette that I took the tray out of.
A Fuss Free De-Potting Tutorial!
So far I’ve only de-potted MAC eyeshadows, when I get round to other brands like Illamasqua I’ll be sure to do a tutorial on those too. This method is quick and easy with as little mess as possible, if you want to find out how to de-pot your MAC eyeshadows fuss free, keep on reading!
