How To: De-pot MAC Eyeshadows

I’ve recently started de-potting my eyeshadows to go into a MAC Pro Palette that I took the tray out of.

A Fuss Free De-Potting Tutorial!

So far I’ve only de-potted MAC eyeshadows, when I get round to other brands like Illamasqua I’ll be sure to do a tutorial on those too. This method is quick and easy with as little mess as possible, if you want to find out how to de-pot your MAC eyeshadows fuss free, keep on reading!

Tutorial – Green Smokey Eye Using MUA Cosmetics

After seeing some reviews about them, I decided to join the MUA Cosmetics hype and try them out for myself. The eyeshadows are such good value – very cheap and very pigmented – but that’s for another post.

MUA Cosmetics Innocence Trio

Here’s a look I’ve been wearing a lot at the minute, using the Innocence Eyeshadow Trio and #12 Pressed Eyeshadow along with MAC eyeshadows Humid and Woodwinked.

I love Dragon Scales by Lime Crime so much, I wanted to incorporate it into a more everyday look so I toned it down with Tease by Urban Decay.

This is also a little preview of a new Spring/Summer Tutorial! :)

Lime Crime Chinadoll Fantasy Palette Review!

Yesterday my Lime Crime Chinadoll Palette came in the post and I can’t wait any longer to review it! I know it’s only been a day but I’ve been so excited for it coming and now it’s finally here it’s got me head over heels! Sounds pretty crazy talking about an eyeshadow palette but I dare you not to love everything  about it. :)

Chinadoll Palette And Goodies!

When the trademark purple box arrived yesterday afternoon I knew I was in for a treat! Lime Crime gets me so excited about makeup, their packaging is so fun and their Chinadoll Palette is no exception. I was just expecting the tin palette when I opened the box but I was surprised to find the palette beautifully presented in a gold envelope style box – just as though it had come by unicorn mail!

Spring/Summer 2012 Tutorial – Doe Eyed

Here’s the third instalment of my Spring/Summer 2012 tutorials! This look is really versatile – it can go from a perfect day look to something you could wear out with a splash of bright lipstick. For you ladies who like your winged eyeliner this is definitely a look for you!

It’s also very simple like the contoured look I did previously, so it’s great if you’re in a hurry. The slick of eyeliner in the outer corner of the lid gives the appearance of fuller lashes whilst the minimal makeup in the rest of the face gives it a really clean and fresh feel – just what you want in a spring look. :)

Exciting news! Lime Crime released their Chinadoll Palette yesterday and I managed to get my hands on one :)

It contains five high pigment, outrageously bright eyeshadows in a gorgeous purple and gold tin. Look out for a review coming up or even better sign up to email updates so you don’t miss a thing! :)

I’m also going to be doing a tutorial based around this palette so I’d love to hear your suggestions for a look – which colours you’d like to see me use the most, or what kind of look you guys would like to see!
