Today’s post is another blusher post, but I’m on a bit of a blusher buying spree so it’s only fitting the blog reflects that! These two I picked up in the Illamasqua sale for £7.50 after fancying them for a while. I’m a big fan of Illamasqua powder blushers - they’re very pigmented and easy to work with.
The Illamasqua blushers come in similar style packaging to their powder eyeshadows, except the product is bigger in size. They’re easy to stack and keep organised although I think I’ll end up putting these in a Z Palette like my others.
The first one I bought was Tremble, a matte lilac pink. It looks super pale in the pan but on the cheeks it works to give a healthy, natural glow either on its own or over other blushers to enhance the colour.
The other one I bought is Hussy. This one is really in your face so you need to be careful not to go too crazy with it. I can see Hussy looking even more fab with a tan.
I’ve been loving layering Tremble over Hussy to blend it out and make it pop. As you can see from the swatches – just one swipe! – the payoff of each is great. I can’t wait to wear these two more going in to Spring!
These two blushers are still available, back to full price at £18 at Illamasqua counters and online.
I hope you enjoyed this post! Don’t worry, the next one isn’t on blusher
Thank you for reading! xx
