An Excessive Lip Product Combination

I’m calling this what it is because it is excessive to use a lip liner, two liquid lipsticks and a gloss to achieve this, but I love the result so much!

First I line my lips with Kat Von D Everlasting Lip Liner in Lolita II and blend the pencil with my finger.

Then I use Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II to fill in with Ludwig right in the centre to lighten the colour a little.

You could leave it here, and some days I do, but if I want a gloss on top I’ll apply the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb right in the centre.

And there you have it, my current favourite excessive lip product combination to over line my lips and make them a slightly different shade.

My New Brow Routine

Shock horror I’VE CHANGED HOW I DO MY BROWS. In all honesty I felt like it was time for a change of routine and products. Sometimes my brows would just look way too harsh for my face, especially if I was going for a more natural makeup look or my hair was starting to fade.

I’ve been lazy about finding new products (do you expect any less from me?) then the Armani Beauty team slid in my DMs and my brow game was changed forever.

So before we get going – yes these products were sent to me for free and no I’m not just ass licking for more stuff – I genuinely like these products and I’m hella picky about what I use in my brows. Now that’s out of the way, if you have invisibrows like me and you’re looking for a new way to fluff them up, keep on reading.

How to make your own Christmas hamper.

There’s always one person at Christmas that’s really hard to buy for. You spend hours wracking your brain about what to get them, but you’re still running around like a headless chicken on Christmas Eve with nothing to wrap.

So why not make them a hamper? Set a budget, pick a few of their favourite things and wrap it up all professional.

To make your hamper you will need:

– tissue paper (sheets, that shredded stuff, whichever takes your fancy)
– cellophane
– scissors
– tape
– bow
– ribbon
– gift tag

Step 1 – gather everything you’ll need for your hamper (I’m guilty of starting something, realising I’ve not got all the things I need, then it all goes to pot.)

Step 2 – Use your tissue paper to create a slope for your products to sit on and look all fancy.

Step 3 – Arrange your products!

Step 4 – In hindsight I should have done this, use double sided tape to stick your products together so they don’t jiggle about.

Step 5 – Wrap your hamper in the cellophane.

Step 6 – Add your ribbon, bow and gift tag and you’re done!

As you can see, the double sided tape trick would’ve stopped some of the products rolling around.

You can also check out this video by Boots for more ideas on how to decorate and arrange your hamper:

I hope you enjoyed this post, I know it’s something a bit different! :)

A massive thank you to Boots for providing the products for this post.

How To Use Glow Highlight Powder

Okay, so you might be thinking Phee, what the hell, like I don’t know how to use a highlighter?! I’m not saying this is how you have to use Glow Highlight Powder, or any other highlighter you’ve got for that matter, but I’m hoping that maybe you’ll find out something new in this post, even if it’s something that you might not think is that important.

Emma Stone Independent Spirit Awards Look

There are so many beautiful makeup looks around at the minute with fashion weeks and awards ceremonies taking place around the world. This started off as a Taylor Swift Grammys look – which is very similar – but I love Emma’s style. Plus she’s a fellow redhead!

The look Emma wore to the Independent Spirit Awards really caught my eye. I love how her makeup artist adds a touch of colour to a lot of her looks. I don’t usually play with blues either, and it’s always good to try new things.
